The First Annual Groundhog Open is coming to Fort Wayne! In the dead of winter 2012, above the streets of downtown, the hopes and dreams of warmer weather will be celebrated in a big way with this inaugural charity golf event. Come join the Groundhog and the golfers on the beautiful 18-hole championship putting course laid out between the Grand Wayne Center, Embassy Theatre and the downtown Courtyards by Marriott. Designed by some of the City's most talented design professionals, this extraordinary layout provides challenges for even the most skilled golfers in the city.
Co-sponsored by the Alliance the the Downtown Improvement District, the First Annual Groundhog Open will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2012 and will benefit the Downtown Improvement District's extraordinary floral efforts and help purchase and maintain flower pots in downtown Fort Wayne. |
